SUMMARY:Walcheren Causeway Parade
DESCRIPTION:Walcheren Causeway – the Battle of Walcheren Causeway (31 Oct – 2 Nov 1944) is commemorated annually by the Regiment on the weekend closest to 31 October.  A parade and drumhead church service are held\, and the local Dutch community participates in the event.  In past years this has included a choir in traditional Dutch national costume\, buffet lunch with Dutch cuisine\, and inspection of the Guard by the Dutch Consul General.  The public is welcome to attend this event.
