DESCRIPTION:https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=WarInPieces \n\n\n\nMeet the authors of “A Mile in Their Boots” on June 2\, when we celebrate this collection of stories from our Veterans’ Writing Workshop.\nThe book was written as a compilation of the works of Calgary military authors who participated in the Veterans Writing Workshop\, sponsored in part by The Calgary Highlanders Regimental Funds Foundation.  The workshop takes place from September to June in Calgary and is free of charge for serving CAF members or veterans.  Last year\, two Calgary Highlanders participated and they are both included in this book.\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\nThe Book Launch is a free event at the Military Museums featuring the authors themselves reading passages from the stories they wrote while taking part in the War in Pieces Veterans’ Writing Workshop. They will be available to sign books and answer questions.
