Individual Battle Task Standards (IBTS) Training - Lethbridge: 14-16 October 2016

Over the weekend of 14-16 October 2016 The Calgary Highlanders visited 20th Independent Field Battery, RCA at Vimy Armoury in Lethbridge. Over the weekend The Calgary Highlanders trained cooperatively with 20th Independent Field Battery to review the soldier skills required to call for artillery support, operate in a chemical, radioactive, biological, and nuclear environment, and conduct some hands on weapons training. After a full day of training all soldiers toured the Lethbridge Military Museum (http://www.lethbridgemilitarymuseum.org/) followed by an evening visiting with the 9-Pounder Junior Ranks Mess and the Officers, Warrant Officers, and Sergeants Mess respectively.

After a fun filled night in the mess all soldiers completed the Gas Hut at Kipp Range on Sunday, 16 October 2016 to confirm some of the skills practiced over the weekend.

A special thanks to 20th Independent Field Battery RCA for their hospitality!
