Exercise DINOSAUR SCOUT was conducted at the town of Drumheller, Alberta on the weekend of 19-21 March 2010. Several units from 41 Canadian Brigade Group took part, in addition to the Calgary Highlanders. The exercise was intended to provide realistic patrolling experience to soldiers of different units, including the King's Own Calgary Regiment and Calgary Highlanders, at the same time as acting as the Final Exercise for the DP2 Course being conducted by the South Alberta Light Horse. To add to the realism and assist in the conduct of the exercise, aircraft from 408 Tactical Helicopter Squadron took part.
